Where is BG OnStage located?

A: BG OnStage’s main office is at 701 Chestnut St. We’re on the corner of Chestnut and Seventh Avenue in Bowling Green, KY.

Where is the Gaslight Theatre?

A: The Gaslight Theatre is just behind our main office at 701 Chestnut St.

Is parking available at BG OnStage/Gaslight Theatre?

A: There is limited parking. The parking lot is accessed off Chestnut Street. For Gaslight shows, arrive early for parking in our lot, or there are many parking spaces available downtown close by, including the Eighth Avenue free parking garage at Stadium Park Plaza.

Where are your shows located?

A: All of our mainstage/school day shows are in Van Meter Hall on Western Kentucky University’s campus. Visit our school day shows page for more information on Van Meter. Our Gaslight Theatre Series shows and Cabaret Nights are in our Gaslight Theatre at 701 Chestnut St.

Where are auditions and lessons?

A: All auditions and private lessons are at the BG OnStage main office at 701 Chestnut St.

Are your facilities handicap accessible?

A: Van Meter Hall is handicap accessible. Visit our school day shows page for more information. The BG OnStage main office and Gaslight Theatre are also handicap accessible. Call us at 270- 904-1382 with any questions.


Do you offer concessions at shows?

A: Food and drink are prohibited in Van Meter Hall for our mainstage/school day shows and in the Gaslight Theatre for Gaslight Series shows. However, dessert and drinks are included in admission for Cabaret Nights.

How do I sign up for private lessons?

How do I audition for a show?

A: Visit our auditions page for all age requirements and dates/time for auditions. Sign up to receive information from BG OnStage so you’ll be kept up to date on upcoming opportunities. Call 270-904-1382 with any questions.

How do I register for classes, workshops or camps?

A: All classes, workshops and camps have limited enrollment and age requirements. Registration forms are included on our classes, workshops & camps page or you can stop by the BG OnStage main office at 701 Chestnut St. Be sure to sign up for BG OnStage information so you can be kept up to date on upcoming opportunities.

How do I sign my class up for a school day show?

A: All information on registering your class is on our school day page. You can also email info@bgonstage.org for more information or call our school day line at 270-282-2166. See BG OnStage’s upcoming school day shows on our Mainstage at Van Meter page.


How do I purchase tickets for shows?

A: You can purchase tickets in advance for many shows through Eventbrite. We will post the link on each show page as tickets go on sale. We also offer general admission at the door. Seating for Gaslight Series shows is limited, so it is recommended you purchase in advance and arrive early. Seating is also limited for school day shows. If you are not registered with a school, you must arrive early and purchase a ticket to be directed to available seating. Can I film or take pictures at shows?

A: Due to strict licensing requirements for most of our shows, photography and video are strictly prohibited during performances. This is also to limit distractions for our actors and audience members. Please keep phones and cameras turned off and put away during performances.
